Our verdict

Opinion Outpost is best compared with other classic survey panels, especially for people who prefer straightforward questionnaires. It still depends on matching studies and maintaining an eligible account. Points rules and local reward options deserve as much attention as the survey invitations themselves.

Check the current provider terms before registering.

What is Opinion Outpost?

Opinion Outpost is a traditional research panel rather than a shopping-rewards marketplace. That makes it relatively easy to understand the activity: qualifying for and completing questionnaires is how most members participate. The complications are less visible, such as changing invitation frequency, local reward choices and the conditions attached to unused points. If you tend to use survey accounts intermittently, review any balance-expiry terms before assuming credits can sit untouched. Use your account's current redemption menu when assessing the value of a successful completion.

✓ What we like

  • Traditional UK consumer-research surveys
  • Some product tests and focus groups
  • Redeem points for cash or rewards

! Things to consider

  • Points expire under the current terms; check the live catalogue before publishing exact redemption values.
